Kids need busses!

Every semester, the Johnson Museum hosts dozens of K-­12 school groups from our local communities for hands-on educational programs with our staff, volunteers and student interns.  Last year, our school program served 6,060 students and 466 teachers from 47 area schools. For many of these children, cultural opportunities are limited and their field trip to the Johnson may be their first experience ever visiting a museum. Unfortunately, as with many arts programs across the nation, rising costs and shrinking budgets are restricting opportunities for schools to visit the museum - but your support can turn this around! 

How you can help.

The Johnson Museum's Adopt-A-Bus project will help defray the costs for school groups to cover the cost of transportation to the Museum for each of their visits. Often, costs to bus children are greater than rest of the program expenses combined! Each $250 we raise will support one visit for one class to the Johnson Museum. Our goal is to raise at least $12,500 to help cover costs for 50 upcoming class trips.
