Public Health Student Leadership: The Future in Their Hands

Become a leader for change! Help develop student leaders in Public Health at Cornell.

The Cornell Master of Public Health Program graduated its first cohort in May 2019, less than a year before a global pandemic changed lives forever. Founded on three pillars (Sustainability, Equity, Engagement) and utilizing an engaged-learning approach, the program develops the skills students need to make an impact on the health and well-being of people and planet. And, by working with community partners, public health students turn theory into practice while preparing to become future leaders in the field.

Support of this crowdfunding project helps develop students’ leadership skills as part of GraPH (Graduate Students in Public Health) and the Student Advisory Committee (SAC). You will be facilitating the development of public health students through mentorship, hands-on experiences, and targeted training programs. Funds raised will be utilized by student leaders for programming and community-building events, such as mock interviews, resume, grant writing, and budgeting skill workshops, crisis simulation, community partnerships, local public health advocacy, guest lectures, and networking. Developing outstanding public health professionals is more important than ever. In an increasingly challenging time for public health, your gift will transform these students' professional skillsthereby affecting the greater good they can do in the worldwhile also building the foundation for their future engagement as proud Cornell alumni.

As a registered student organization, we are committed to equal access to all of our programs and do not discriminate based on any protected identity status.
