HCA Spring Trek

Human Capital Association Spring Trek is an annual event that allows students interested in leadership development to spend a day with HR professionals. Past treks have taken students to the US Military Academy at West Point, a retail coffee organization in Seattle, and a telecom provider in New York City. The benefits for students are twofold. They connect with HR professionals and learn directly from practitioners solving today's most pressing human capital issues. With your help, students will develop the leadership skills needed to become successful leaders at the S.C. Johnson School of Graduate Management and the ILR School.

Who We Are

The Human Capital Association at Cornell University is a student-led organization that operates across the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management and the School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Our programming includes Spring Trek, Fall Symposium, and fireside chats with HR executives. We believe that people are the most crucial element of any organization, and we are committed to linking our members with leaders who share this belief. By providing educational and professional opportunities, HCA enables its members to view the world of work through labor and business lenses.
