Friends,
You have inspired all of us at Cornell Vet with your generosity, and moved the Anna & Hyman Greenberg Scholarship founder, Dr. Malcolm Kram, to share this video with his message of gratitude.
For kicking off this season of thanks, you have ours!
Friends,
Your support of the Anna & Hyman Greenberg Scholarship makes an important difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ Cornell Vet students. It also strengthens our community, which includes talented faculty as well as students and staff.
Section Chief of Exotics and DVM Class of 1992 alumnus Dr. Jamie Morrisey expresses his gratitude for the impact support makes on the CVM community in his video message. No one says it better.
Thank you, all. And thank you, Jamie!
Dear friends,
Your generous gifts will go a long way toward helping the College make an even bigger impact on Vet students and the outsized financial burden they face.
Even with scholarship assistance, students can carry an average loan debt of $170,000 for decades. Add the stress of clinical rotations, demanding courses, rigorous schedules, and patients who can’t speak for themselves (at least not in a way we can understand yet) to financial concerns. Now imagine facing homophobia, too.
Knowing that the Cornell network supports you for who you are becomes invaluable. By giving to the Anna and Hyman Greenberg Scholarship, you have sent a priceless message of inclusion to students. As one recipient eloquently conveyed, "[t]he Anna and Hyman Greenberg Scholarship serves as a reminder of how a little kindness can go a long way."
We thank you for your kindness and generosity.
