Thank you all for being so generous in your support of the PRYDE Scholars Program. Our crowdfund campaign has come to an end, and we successfully raised over $6000!
We set an ambitious goal, and we’re so grateful for everyone who contributed to keep the PRYDE Scholars program moving forward. Because of your donations, we can support the translational research experiences of five PRYDE Scholars for an entire semester here at Cornell.
The PRYDE team thanks you, and we're looking forward to working with a new group of undergraduate researchers leading community-based projects to benefit young people!
We’re nearly 75% of the way toward our goal of raising $7500 for the PRYDE Scholars. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to keep this great learning opportunity available to students!
In fact, your gifts so far are enough to support the dedicated work of more than four PRYDE Scholars next semester.
Next semester, we’ll have four scholars working with faculty in Human Development and local school administrators and teachers on a program teaching children about the brain. They’re creating fun activities that use learning about the brain as a jumping off point for children to ponder themselves, their goals, and their potential. Their project is just one example of the great translational research projects that Scholars are pursuing!
Your donation will help cover the costs of Scholars' preparing research materials to learn from youth in 4-H.
Your donation will allow PRYDE Scholars to provide thank you gifts to 5 children who participate in their research project.
Your donation will cover the expense of PRYDE Scholars' use of media and technology platforms to build reserach-based programs for youth.
Your donation will support the cost of PRYDE Scholars traveling around NY state to meet with 4-H youth and youth educators in person.
Your donation will cover the costs of a focus group session so that PRYDE Scholars can learn from practitioner's experiences.
Your donation will go towards one PRYDE Scholar's stipend to allow them to focus their effort during the semester on translational research.
Your donation will fund one PRYDE scholar's travel to an academic or practitioner conference to share their research findings.
