Fuel Entrepreneurship Pursuits

Why do student startup teams TRAVEL to conferences and competitions?

·       To connect with like-minded students

·       To broaden their network of subject matter experts and to identify mentors

·       To build teams with strong and diverse skill sets

·       To meet angel investors and venture capitalists

In short, students need to travel in order to Fuel Entrepreneurship Pursuits from idea to implementation; however, many young entrepreneurs cannot afford to do so without the help of special grants for travel.

Who will benefit from your donation?

Entrepreneurship at Cornell supports undergraduate and graduate students from any college, any discipline. Among the students who will receive travel reimbursement funds are eLab students who travel to Silicon Valley, and student delegates to the  Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) conference who have committed to taking action on social entrepreneurship projects.

All gifts received through this platform are considered donations to Cornell University and are thus tax-deductible. Donors will receive a tax receipt following gift processing.

In addition, you will receive updates introducing you to our three student crowdfunding campaign leaders and other amazing entrepreneurs like:

__________________________________________________________________________________

Imani Majied ’19 created Everybody Eats to bridge meal gaps for food insecure individuals such as low-income students, single parents, and individuals with disabilities.
Saloni Verma, M.Eng. '18, is documenting memory loss in older adults who have been prescribed medications to lower triglycerides and cholesterol levels common in people suffering from diabetes and/or hypertension.
Naviya Kothari '20 is interested in disrupting the education industry to generate curiosity and counter biases at a fundamental level. She co-founded Girls4Girls to enable femme in STEM to find power in solidarity.
