$15,000 Achieved! Thank you all!

April 30, 2018

We are so excited to be able to travel this summer to Swaziland! Thank you to all our friends and family for making it possible. We have raised $15,000 still with 9 days left! From this point on every contribution allows us to send more students to build this summer.

We appreciate all your support. If you'd like to follow our campaign or spread the word check out our FacebookInstagram, and Website.

The first photo below shows the site where we will build! We will be connecting two communities; Kontshingila and Nhletjeni. The water level is low because the photo was taken two weeks ago by our national organization during the dry season.

The next photo is of a hut similar to the one we will be living in. We are so unbelievably excited to travel! Thank you for making it possible for us!

Sincerely,

The team of Bridges to Prosperity

85% Closer To Our Goal!

April 24, 2018

Thank you to all our friends and family for supporting Bridges to Prosperity and making our campaign a success. We have raised $13,000 in 14 days! We could not be more excited as our dream to build this summer in Swaziland becomes a reality! Your contribution means so much because any amount that we raise past $15,000 raise allows us to send more students to build this summer.

Thank you so much! If you'd like to follow our campaign or spread the word check out our Facebook, Instagram, and Website

Images below are of our bridge design for this summer in Kontshingila, Swaziland and a bridge similar to the one we are building that the Bridges to Prosperity chapter at the University of Colorado built in Edlangeni, Swaziland last summer.

$20

Nuts and Bolts

With $20, you will be supporting the purchase of the small hardware that is critical for constructing our bridge. Every lag screw, drop forged clamp, and length of rebar helps bring us one step closer to building a bridge alongside the community of Kontshingila.

$50

Safety Equipment

With $50, we will be able to buy the safety equipment that is necessary to keep our students and community members safe while constructing the bridge. This donation will go towards purchasing hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, retractable lanyards, and harnesses.

$100

Bridge Cables

With $100, you will be supporting our purchase of bridge cables which will not only connect our two support towers to create the main frame of the bridge but will it create a stronger connection between our team and the community.

$250

Nourisher

With $250, we will be able to pay for the full amount of food and water for one student for 2 months!

$500

Local Mason

With $500, you will be providing the salary for a local mason that works with us in building the foundation of the bridge towers.

$1,000

With $1000, you will be covering the airfare for one student to our bridge site where they will excavate, mix concrete, and see the impact of our work first hand while working alongside the community members of Kontshingila.

$2,000

Bridge Builder

With $2000, you will be supporting the bulk of our materials which will give us the ability to finish the bridge and go back next year to build another!
