Description
As most of you know, the mission of the Food Marketing Fellows (FMF) Program is to give students a behind the scenes look at the inner workings of the food industry. We do that through visits to retailers, producers and shippers close to campus and through the outstanding international trip we take each January.
For many students, the FMF experience is transformative, leading to lifelong friendships and connections and a deeper understanding of the food system with many former FMF going on to careers in the food industry
Many students tell us that FMF was THE standout experience of their time at Cornell, and more than a handful have told us that the FMF was one of the main reasons they applied to and attended Cornell.
Since 1992, we have been proud to have been able to provide those meaningful experiences to students from a wide variety of disciplines, including many Dyson School students as well as students from Food Science, Global Development, Environment and Sustainability, Nutrition, Nolan Hotel School. and Plant Science.
We are committed to preserving the quality and depth of the FMF experience, but funding has become more challenging. Although students do contribute to the costs of both the domestic and international trip, costs continue to increase year over year, and we strive to make sure that this amount is not a barrier to any student.
100% of any donation made during this campaign goes directly to FMF and will help us keep the program vibrant while helping to keep the program accessible to students across campus.
Any amount will help us keep making magic for FMFs for years to come.
As a registered student organization, we are committed to equal access to all of our programs and do not discriminate based on any protected identity status.
