Cornell NSBE: Investing in Tomorrow’s Black Engineers
Cornell NSBE is more than a student organization, it’s a movement dedicated to building and uplifting the next generation of Black engineers. Every year, we mentor students, champion academic excellence, and create pathways to careers in STEM. But we can’t do it without you.
Your gift directly supports our hands-on outreach programs—from organizing community service events with elementary schools, to visiting high schools to inspire future engineers, to hosting workshops that help students navigate college and career challenges. It funds travel for our members to attend the annual National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Convention, where they connect with top employers like Apple, SpaceX, Microsoft, and Boeing, and return with fresh ideas, motivation, and professional opportunities.
Every dollar you give helps us strengthen our community. It sends a student to a national conference who might not otherwise be able to afford it. It provides materials for our mentorship programs and high school outreach. It even helps us continue our postcard project—handwritten notes that remind our members and supporters that they are seen, valued, and part of something larger than themselves.
