Building Skills for the Future in Ukraine

In a joint endeavor between eCornell and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukrainian citizens and refugees have the opportunity to complete Cornell certificate programs in critical topics including AI Strategy, Business Strategy, Digital Transformation, Project Management, Public Sector Leadership and Python Programming. So far, the collaboration has granted scholarships to 150 government employees, working adults, university faculty and students from Ukraine and the country’s refugees located around the world.

By offering targeted programs in a flexible format, we empower the people of Ukraine facing significant obstacles, challenges and instability in their lives or communities to develop new skills and prepare them to rebuild a brighter future.

Meet Anna – Rebuilding hope in Ukraine

When war disrupted her life, Anna found purpose through perseverance. While her fiancé defends their country, she dedicates her days to supporting the Ukrainian military and helping children in frontline areas rediscover creativity and hope. Through her studies with Cornell, Anna has built the leadership and project management skills to strengthen her community even amid crisis. Her story is a powerful reminder that learning can spark resilience in the most uncertain times.
