Below, you can see the clinic in action during a recent newsroom visit:

Each semester, as part of its classroom instruction, the clinic brings its students to the   newsroom of an important media outlet to witness firsthand how lawyers in the field help journalists get stories out to the public. This semester clinic students traveled to Syracuse to hear from Mitch Gelman, the President and CEO of WCNY, that city’s the public television station. The Cornell Law School First Amendment Clinic acts as the station’s legal counsel, providing legal review of critical news programming that allows the station to fulfill its mission of providing fair, independent and newsworthy programming to the community it serves.  Our which gives our students witnessed public television in action!
