Who we are

We are the Cornell University Dance Team! Since our founding in 2017, we have been sharing our love of dance both on campus and with the Cornell community. Our team is composed of brilliant dancers and performers who are dedicated students and excellent contributors to Cornell’s diverse community.

What we do

We perform jazz, pom, and hip-hop routines at community fundraisers and home sporting events, while training to compete regionally and nationally. Thanks to the dedication of our officers and members, we have grown from a dance club to a nationally-recognized collegiate dance team! We have traveled for UDA and NDA Dance Camp, been invited to perform at faculty events with upwards of one thousand people in attendance, and recently competed at our fourth UDA College Nationals. In 2024, we became the first Ivy League team in history to advance to finals, receiving 8th place in Division I Pom.

Why give?

We are so proud to represent Cornell at all of our performances, and hope to continue expanding our program in the future. We're thrilled to announce that this year, we are returning to UDA Nationals and we will be competing two routines for the first time in program history: Division I Pom and Division I Gameday!

We rely heavily on gifts to fund all equipment, travel, and competition costs for team members and are looking for support in the team’s success. Despite doing many fundraising events as a team, the fees associated with this competition are more than we can raise on our own. Our team is built on dedication, teamwork, and the belief that dance should be accessible to everyone. With the support of fundraising, we can eliminate financial barriers and make dance accessible to everyone on the team. We greatly appreciate every single gift from our generous donors to help make our dreams a reality!
