Every dollar directly supports Cornell students volunteering in local Head Start classrooms, providing classroom assistance, building meaningful relationships, and helping ensure that families receive the resources they need.

Your support helps us:

• Fund reliable transportation and training for volunteers traveling to local sites
• Host community events that celebrate, strengthen, and support our community partners
• Expand our volunteer capacity so more Cornell students can serve and make an even greater impact

Thanks to the incredible outpouring of support so far, we were able to raise our goal to this final figure of $7,500. These additional funds will allow us to enhance our Spring Break Box initiative with high-need items such as baby formula, diapers, and engaging activities for families.

Your gifts directly support our volunteers and strengthen our partnership with local Head Start classrooms, where Cornell students show up every week to help kids learn, grow, and feel supported.

As our program expands each semester - now engaging nearly 200 volunteers across multiple Head Start sites - your support becomes even more essential. Funding from this campaign sustains day-to-day operations, covers vital transportation for our volunteers, and strengthens our ability to create meaningful learning moments for children ages 0-5. It also helps us take on new projects, like building on last semester’s “Fueling the Future” initiative, where we assembled spring break kits for every Head Start family in Ithaca.
