Who we are
Cornell Digital Tech & Innovation (DTI) is an engineering project team dedicated to creating technology for community impact. We are software engineers, product designers, product managers, and business analysts building websites and mobile applications for the community and sharing our knowledge and experiences through student-run classes, technical workshops, and local community events. Rather than simply asking for change, we build solutions. We've learned that creating socially impactful products does not merely entail working with the most skilled people, but rather the most passionate ones. And that's perhaps our most precious project of all: our team itself.
What we do
Here are just a few highlights of our projects:
We also strive to create a positive impact beyond Cornell. During the Fall 2023 semester, our team taught children in the Ithaca community about designing and coding at the Tompkins County Public Library. This semester, we went back to the TCPL to teach elderly how to best utilize modern technology and devices. We hope to continuously further our community impact through our outreach initiatives!
Why DTI?
Cornell DTI is so much more than a project team. We are a tech start-up that uses agile development and cutting-edge tools to ship products. We are an organization dedicated to giving back to the community and teaching others. We are a family of like-minded individuals, students, and friends working to make a difference. We are Cornell Digital Tech & Innovation: creating technology for community impact. We don't want our budget constraints to limit the amount of positive change we can bring to Cornell and Ithaca. Your gift will help us sustain our ongoing efforts, tackle new problems at Cornell, and educate a whole new generation of people who use technology for social good. Your gifts will help make our team, our projects, and our initiatives a success!
