Our Team

At Cornell Data Science (CDS), we’re a team of highly dedicated undergraduates who apply data science to solve meaningful, real-world problems. Our members work within four specialized sub-teams, each focusing on unique aspects of data science:

• Machine Learning Engineering: Develops and deploys machine learning models for various applications.
• Data Engineering: Builds and optimizes data pipelines to ensure reliable data collection and processing.
• Quantitative Finance: Applies data science techniques to financial analysis and portfolio management.
• Data Science: Conducts data analysis, visualization, and modeling across diverse domains.

Our Work

With projects like TrivAI, an iOS app for creating personalized quizzes, and Millennium X CDS, where we develop scalable data pipelines, we tackle a wide range of data challenges. We’re committed to developing technical skills and making an impact at Cornell through networking events, industry talks, and mentorship sessions with leaders from companies like Amazon, Verizon, and Millennium.
