We are a new, dynamic project team dedicated to advancing healthcare innovation by making cutting-edge diagnostic technologies accessible to the public. We focus on developing non-invasive biosensor solutions to address a range of medical conditions, with a current emphasis on kidney failure, or acute kidney injury (AKI).
As part of our mission, we participate in SensUs, a prestigious international competition that challenges teams like us to rethink the "one-size-fits-all" approach to healthcare.
Over the course of a year, our team will design and refine a unique diagnostic tool, which is then showcased and evaluated in the Netherlands by a panel of experts and key industry leaders—this is why your support is crucial to us! This competition not only assesses the technical viability of our product but also offers opportunities for collaboration with major players in the healthcare sector and showcases Cornell on the international stage.
We believe that we can provide an invaluable opportunity for students to explore biosensors, train as engineers and scientists for the real world, and enter the biosensing field for the first time.
Will you help us create the most-effective, user-friendly, and sensitive biosensor that can be used outside of a lab?
