Women's Soccer

2023/24 has been full of steps forward for Cornell Women's Soccer, and it also brought challenges, just as we would expect. Nothing worth doing in life is easy, and we are fixated on moving onwards and upwards in 2024/25. Your support continues to help drive us forward. We are doubling down on culture…team first, positivity, and accountability, among other areas, as we prepare for fall 2024.

Fall 2023 was a mixed season. We were unbeaten in non-conference for only the second time in 20+ years, though in the Ivy League we didn’t get the results we wanted. Don’t let the conference results mislead you. We were better in almost every single measurable metric across the season compared to 2022. From the perspective of the coaching staff, we felt the team's improvement, and the objective data backed up what we saw. This is the beauty of our game, especially in one of the best D1 conferences in the country: the margins are very small and every game was a legitimate contest. We have been working since the day our season ended to find the one percent's to make the difference in 2024, and we couldn’t be more excited about the team and the future.

We graduate another incredible class of seniors later this year, and we are very excited to be bringing Ava Laden back as part of a very strong group of players for the fall 2024 season! In the fall, we welcome a class of seven freshmen, and can’t wait to see the contributions they bring to our team culture and the impact they can deliver on the field. Our program today is unrecognizable from the program the Class of 2024 walked into back in 2020, and plenty of that is because of the mindset, intensity, and expectations this class of players brought to East Hill. We will miss them dearly, but we will never forget them and the impact they have had to move us forward.

YOU, our generous supporters, are invaluable to our program. We remodeled our game day locker room in Bartels Hall last year, and this year we are headed to Spain to play Levante, FC Barcelona, and FC Girona, both in part thanks to some incredible donors who came together to make it happen!
