Women's Basketball

Cornell Women's Basketball is very special because we not only challenge players during their undergrad years, but we prepare our women to overcome and thrive in their life after graduation. Players learn the value of hard work, dedication, and working effectively as a unit. They learn that there are few things more valuable than trust, communication, and commitment.

We work to develop players' focus on embracing adversity, dedicating themselves daily, and being both good teammates and good people. We are a team that pushes each person to play hard and constantly challenge herself. Year in and year out, we aim to be one of the top defensive and rebounding teams in our conference, while playing a fast-paced, offensive game that suits our style!

With the world-class education and college experience that Cornell provides, our alumnae are dedicated to supporting and collaborating with current student-athletes, personally, professionally, and philanthropically. Philanthropy impacts our program immensely. With your support, we have the ability to enhance our players' Big Red experience, from purchasing equipment to traveling the nation. We have players from all over the country and gifts help us schedule out-of-region opponents where we can take those players back for "hometown" games.
