Sprint Football

Cornell Sprint Football strives to ensure that the legacy of Coaches Bob and Terry Cullen continues by providing the opportunity for "average-sized" Cornell students to play Division 1 Football while becoming part of the Sprint Football extended family.

The family atmosphere here at Cornell provides peers for our players to turn to for advice in navigating the collegiate experience, as well as life in a broader context.

Sprint Football was designated a self-funded sport in 1992. We take great pride in the generosity of our alumni, parents, and friends who have enabled us to be 100% self-funded every year from 1992 through 2023. The Sprint Football culture has always been to emphasize participation with a gift at a level of individual comfort, and each dollar we raise goes directly to support our program.
