Men's Basketball

Cornell Big Red Men's Basketball stands out because of our players' effort and unselfishness on the court, the bonds they have with each other, and the connections with alumni who are the trailblazers for who we are today.

Our players play fast, with intensity, and unbelievably unselfishly. During the ’24-’25 season, ranked nationally, we are:

• Fifth fastest in tempo/speed of play
• Sixth in the country in overall FG%
• First in 2-pt FG%
• 15th in assists/game

Our roster is deep, engaged in their roles, and loves to play for one another.

Philanthropy is an essential part of our team's Cornell University and Cornell Basketball experience. It helps put our players in the best position to compete for an Ivy League championship and provides the best college basketball experience possible. Nearly every aspect of this program, from the depth of scouting and game preparation, to how we can travel and feed our players before and after a competition, to what we wear on and off the court, depends on the generosity of our passionate alumni.
