The Johnson Annual Fund supports every aspect of our students’ experience—from the scholarships and financial aid that fuel their future, to the unlimited opportunities to explore new ideas and discover new approaches to business that have the potential to change the world.
Support for the Johnson Scholarship Fund opens the door to even more talented students, providing resources that empower them to study at Johnson and enhance this vibrant community of leaders and innovators. Investing in the future begins today by providing more students the opportunity to earn a degree that will change the way they see business, and their ability to positively impact society.
Johnson students are involved in leading a wide range of student-led organizations and associations to aid them in their career development. These groups coordinate lectures, career forums, panels, and company visits. Johnson student clubs also organize company information and networking sessions during student treks. Support to the Johnson Student Activity fund helps support the career development for future Johnson students as well as connection with other Johson students on shared affinity interests.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management is proud to be one of the first top-tier business schools to have an office focused on supporting the rising generation of women, Black, Indigenous, Latinx/Hispanic, and LGBTQ leaders. ODI fosters a diverse community of equity, inclusion, and belonging within the SC Johnson Graduate School of Management to promote psychological safety so that all students, staff, faculty, alumni, and external partners can show up as their authentic selves and thrive to build sustainable, shared prosperity.
Businesses have a vital role to play in solving social and environmental issues through innovation, market development, and entrepreneurship. Faculty who work with the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise are at the forefront of research, teaching, and engagement related to helping businesses address these problems. Funds given to CSGE provide students distinctive experiential learning opportunities and collaborate with organizations to help to tackle the grand challenges of our time, such as climate change, ecosystem degradation, and poverty.
Student Program Support Founded in 2010, EMI made 7 Emerging Market Multinational Reports, 12 Annual Conferences, the launch of the pitch and case competitions, and the graduation more than 60 EMI Fellows every year. This is possible through the great EMI team, the generous support of alumni, faculty, and Johnson community at large. Funds given to EMI help support a second decade of excellence and student program support.
Johnson students aren’t just joining the best companies in finance, accounting, technology, and more—they’re starting them! The world needs entrepreneurs who view the world through a new lens,identifying opportunities, solving problems, and creating value in business and society. Entrepreneurship and Innovation @ Johnson promotes the value of creativity, encouraging these forward-thinking innovators to pursue their passion and blaze new trails. You can support their efforts to conceive, create, and launch their ventures through Big Red Venture fund, Johnson Summer Start-up, BioEntrepreneurship, and more.
During this time of year, many Johnson students are seeking summer internships to fulfill their career aspirations. For some students, who are focused on social or environmental impact, this means forgoing an opportunity with a traditional company and taking a position with low- or no compensation. The Social Impact Internship Fund (SIIF) supports MBA students seeking summer internship opportunities in roles dedicated to addressing critical social and environmental challenges. Past scholarship recipients have worked at non-profits and for-profit ventures with a dedicated social or environmental mission as well as mission-driven startups, governments, and non-governmental organizations.
