FY23 Big Red Band

The Big Red band at Cornell is so special because it is a program run by student leaders. The band offers students a “no experience necessary” type of opportunity. Here at Cornell, we are a welcoming, energetic group excited about performing and playing music for our fans.

This season we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to have an in-person marching/pep season. The time spent together has allowed us the chance to foster a safe environment and promote diversity and inclusion while supporting athletes with our Big Red spirit.

We have an incredible alumni base that supports the Big Red Band. Their love and generosity grant our members the opportunity to make incredible friendships and create lifelong memories.

The alumni support is the lifeblood of our program. We use the funds we receive from our alums for purchasing new pep band shirts, music and lyres, and instruments and funding for away trips. Without your support we would be lost.
