FY23 Field Hockey

Cornell Field Hockey provides our athletes with a world-class education and a chance to compete for a National Championship. For our team, 2023 will be different. 2023 will be our year. We will be wiser, stronger, fitter, mentally tougher, more organized, and hungrier than ever before.

We have analyzed our past performances and identified weaknesses that need to be addressed if we are going to challenge for honors next season. Our focus for this spring was on basic skills, individual defense, and first touch. The speed of the court and the different rules that govern the game - the ball must stay on the floor, pushing only and no swinging tackles - will help us immensely and force us out of our comfort zone daily.

We are training, playing, and competing at the highest level in the country and our fundraising efforts allow us to do this. To our alumni and friends, we thank you.
