Cornell fencing isn't just about fencing and winning. It's about creating a culture that truly believes every athlete who comes into the practice room is a crucial part of the team's success. We believe the friends and memories you make on the team are as important as each individual win or title.

We focus heavily on building resilience among our team. The most important skill we want to teach our athletes is to learn from your mistakes and strive to become better each and every day. Our Big Red experience is so incredible because our athletes work towards pushing themselves in ways they never imagined. We also believe that our connections with our alumni provide a resource for these student-athletes that has an everlasting effect on their lives.
