What Fall 2021 Means to Us
We need your help to take our next electric race car ARG22 to Michigan SAE this Spring.
The Cornell FSAE Racing Team
Cornell’s Formula SAE Team was established in 1986. For the past 31 years, we have been designing, manufacturing, and building a Formula One-style racecar. We started with one team and a dozen students, all majoring in mechanical engineering, and have grown the organization to be a 60+ student-run team with 11 sub-teams and students who major in a variety of subjects from Engineering to Hospitality. As a 9 time World Champion, Cornell Racing has become synonymous with innovation and success.
The Production Process
Throughout our 6-stage design process, we use ANSYS and Autodesk Inventor to design and refine our ideas. Once we have completed the design phase, we begin our manufacturing phase where we machine parts using mills, lathes, and CNC machines. After creating molds for our carbon fiber monocoque we meticulously lay up that carbon fiber to reveal the exterior of our hand-built racecar. After manufacturing and building the car, we focus our time tuning to ensure that our car and drivers are unmatched at competition. Our project team is designed to mimic the automotive industry's design cycle and our alumni have gone on to become successful and innovative leaders across a variety of industries.

As a Formula 1 hopeful, your donation of $50 will help us get the new driving gear needed to keep our own "karting champions" on the top of their game. From nomex gloves, to crash tested helmets, driver training will be made exhilarating, but safe!
You are ready to step up to the task and turn your power valve up to 11 on your senior series kart. Your donation of $100 will accelerate our team's productivity faster than your kart can reach 60mph by funding improved tool organization for the lab space, reducing the clutter and speeding up repairs to get us back out on the track ASAP.
You strive for the best and Formula Ford Racing is your next logical step on your way to Formula 1 World champ! Your donation of $250 will ensure that Cornell Racing's carbon fiber components are the most expertly manufactured in the race by helping the team fund essential tooling and materials required for our extensive composite manufacturing.
You are ready to race right into the European league and crush the competition. Formula 3 has opened up your eyes to the addition of aerodynamic packages and their benefit in the corners. Your donation of $500 will support our innovative, fifth-generation aero package capable of taking ARG22 to cornering forces never seen before.
You like to live life dangerously on the dirt, but donate responsibly in your finances. As World Rally Champion you will be supporting the manufacture of critical chassis components such as our differential and suspension dampers necessary to maintain maximum grip at all times and absolutely rip through the tight corners!

Your donation of $2500 dollars helps us fund the powerhouse of ARG22 in the purchase of an entire set of magnesium rims, carbon fiber, aluminum, and many more essential components.
