Hey Speech & Debate Friends  - 

While we spend our weekdays raising money, we spend our weekends taking names. All three squads are wrapping up their fall seasons with great success, so we thought we would share that with all of you! 

Policy Debate: Gabby Knight has taken home yet another Top Speaker award at the Monmouth University competition last weekend. She and her partner David Rooney made it to Varsity Semifinals, while our Novice and JV teams finished in Semis and Quarters across the board! 

Speech:  Jay Sirot took home another Extemporaneous Speaking win! He's now defeated the top speakers in our region and is already qualified for nationals! 

Worlds:  Novice Freshmen Aniroodh Ravikumar and Denny Lee did what no other freshman had done before them - they made it to the open Semifinals of the Yale IV! They beat out many nationally and internationally ranked teams, finishing in the top 8 of over 170 teams. We couldn't be more excited for the great things to come for Ani and Denny!
