Cornell Promise Annual Fund Scholarships for Human Ecology
Kayla came to Cornell hoping to become an interior designer. She enrolled as a Design and Environmental Analysis major in the College of Human Ecology.
“I still have that interest in interior design, but I learned I am so passionate about health equity.
My classes in Human Ecology cover civil rights, healthcare policy, demography, and statistical analysis. I don't think any other place could offer me the academic experience I’m receiving at Cornell.”
Cornell offers students like Kayla the opportunity to expand their knowledge. Human Ecology students are driven by addressing societal problems and improving lives.
If not for financial aid, Kayla says. “there is absolutely no way my family could afford Cornell.”
The pandemic is expected to affect up to 3,000 students this year. Cornell grants start at $100. Small gifts can add up fast.
Cornell is doing everything possible to meet student needs. President Pollack has made annual fund scholarships her top fundraising priority. Committing to students that they will be able to complete their education at Cornell.
