And Away We Go! -- Student Travel Grants

Cornell students know that if they want to change the world, it helps to know more than a little something about it! 

Short-term study abroad programs are an increasingly popular choice for Cornell undergraduates who want to have a meaningful international experience: everything from a six-week Global Health program in Tanzania to conducting scientific research in Peru to preserving wildlife habitats in Africa over the summer.  

These exciting, often course-related opportunities are perfect for students who can’t afford to or don’t want to be away from campus for the whole semester or entire year.  Unfortunately, because travel costs for short-term programs are not covered by Cornell grant aid, these terrific engaged learning opportunities are often out of reach for students with limited means.

Thankfully, Student Travel Grants cover the average cost of airfare and travel to even the most far-flung corners of the world. They can make all the difference in the world.
