Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We're about 77 hours away from the deadline and we're almost fully funded - but not done yet. Please keep sharing with friends and former teammates that might be interested. We're extremely heartened by all of the kind gifts.
Don't let potentially hitting the initial goal dissuade you from making a gift. As I've said to many, the $20,000 goal is just a down payment on a multi-year project, so the support you provide will be used to get additional materials in the hands of our former student-athletes, their families, friends and fans. The sooner we can preserve these materials, the better. The Cornell Daily Sun posted an article today about the project, and it has been shared and picked up by a number of trade publications. A number of university athletic departments have contacted us, opening further doors as we share what works and what doesn't ... many of our colleagues across the country have similar longterm goals. This project has, and will continue, to open lots of doors.
Please take a moment to read the story if you have the chance. https://cornellsun.com/2018/11/27/athletics-department-launches-crowdfunding-campaign-for-digital-library/ Thank you so much for all the support, and please continue to share the word!

Check out this video: Cornell Hall of Famers Richie Moran and Mike Teeter support this Digital Library Project, mostly because they don't have space on their phone to record all the reel-to-reel films. And not sure how many followers Teets has on Instagram. Maybe it makes sense for us to digitize the video and share it ...
You can follow us on Twitter throughout the campaign as we share photos, videos and other highlights from our archive at @BigRedArchives
So we're nearly halfway through the Crowdfunding campaign and we've spent much of the first two weeks sharing some gems from our archives and telling you all the work that needs to be done to save our history. Check CornellBigRed.com in the coming days for more reasons to support our campaign. Visit @BigRedArchives for new content.
Hopefully you've been following our progress on Twitter at @BigRedArchives where we've shared photo galleries from scanned negatives, highlights and old videos off our shelves from VHS and DVDs in our closet and other assorted content. This is all possible because of your generous donations to this project.
So today, in the shadow of the Thanksgiving dinner, we're thankful for all of our Cornell family and friends. If you haven't already, please consider a gift to help allow us to share the many treasures that have been unavailable for so long. We're excited to uncover what's left.

Help Cornell Sports Info with a gift towards digitizing archived photographs and film.
A $100 gift can go towards a [fancy digitalization machine] for Big Red Sports Info.
A gift of $500 will help Cornell Sports Info partially fund a digitalization intern position.
Support at this level would help digitize every negative from the 1980s.
This level of gift would help digitize reel-to-reel game film from the 1940s and 1950s.
